Sound Factory Orchestra on tour

altIn November Sound Factory Orchestra will participate in another project aimed at promoting contemporary music. It focuses on saxophone music and will be presented in 4 European cities: Wrocław, Antwerp, Amsterdam, and Utrecht (November 20, 23-25).

The concerts, co-organized by the Institute of Music and Dance, belong to the projects held in order to promote the city of Wrocław as the European Capital of Culture 2016. The orchestra, joined by soloists, will premiere new works commissioned for this occasion. The schedule of the event in Antwerp includes also lectures and workshops for students of music school and academies on saxophone playing techniques, interpretation of new music and composition.
