On October 26, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., the Szczecin Philharmonic will host the final concert of the International Composition Competition for the Centenary of the Society of Authors ZAiKS.

In 2018, the Society of Authors ZAiKS celebrates its centenary. 2018 also marks the 70th anniversary of the artistic activity of the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra in Szczecin. On this occasion, a competition for a symphonic piece was announced. The works selected during the first stage of the competition will be performed by the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Patrycja Pieczara and Adam Sztaba, during the final concert on 26 October 2018 in the Szczecin Philharmonic Hall. The Competition will be adjudicated during this ceremony.

The concert will feature such compositions as: E-> E III by Masashi Kawashima, Phenomenon by Eunho Chang, Dalal by Peter Hindertürr, In broken images by Otton Wanke, Largo by Stanisław Krupowicz, and Glow! by Wojciech Kostrzewa. After the break, Adam Sztaba's Riffenuto will be presented.
