Concerts for children entitled The Bird’s Gossips, organized as the fringe event of the Witold Lutosławski Festival Chain XIII, will be held on February 13, 2016 at 2.30 and 4.00 pm in the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra at 272 Grochowska St. in Warsaw.
The programme includes Witold Lutosławski's Songs to the texts by Julian Tuwim (The Bird’s Gossips, The Overdue Nightingale, Little Feather) and compositions by Pyotr Tchaikovsky (Dance of the Little Swans from ballet Swan Lake), Camille Saint-Saëns (The Cuckoo in the Depths of the Woods from the cycle The Carnival of the Animals), Richard Strauss and Heinrich Ignaz Biber.
