The third installment of the "Musical Instruments" website will be launched on October 21, 2016 during the 15th International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition.
The website will be devoted to violins in Polish collections, as well as the instruments of the winners of violin-making and violin competitions. It is the third installment of the "Musical Instruments" project, following the "Polish folk music instruments" and "The Piano in Polish Collections".
The website gathers the largest digital collection of music instruments in Poland and it presents the instruments from the Violin Collection of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, managed by the Association of Polish Violin Makers, as well as the instruments of Polish laureates of the International Henryk Wieniawski Violin-Making Competition in Poznań, and the violins played by Polish performers awarded at the International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition.
