Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC
The main idea of the 26th International Nova Music and Architecture Festival, which will take place between the 24th of June and the 27th of August, 2022, is traditionally presenting classical music in the historic and modern interiors of Toruń. This year, 16 events will take place at the Artus Court, the Old Town Hall, the churches of St. James, St. Stephen and the Holy Spirit and in CKK Jordanki and 4 - in the online space. Artists from Spain, Korea, Finland and Lithuania will participate in the events.
The Festival will include symphonic, chamber and popular music concerts with the participation of top-class musicians. During the Festival the Toruń Symphony Orchestra will perform five times, presenting both great hits of classical music (works by J. S. Bach, W. A. Mozart, L. van Beethoven, G. Bizet, E. Grieg) as well as popular music (film music of the Golden Age of Hollywood, Balkan music and klezmer with the Klezmafour band, Polish popular music, including A. Zaucha, Z. Wodecki, G. Ciechowski, the bands Perfect, Kombi, with Jacek and Patrycja Kotlarscy).
