Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC
On May 1-12, 2024, the 12th Witold Lutosławski International Cello Competition will be held at the Warsaw Philharmonic. The auditions for the first and second stages of the competition will be open to the public and admission is free.
The event enjoys a worldwide reputation as one of the most prestigious competitions for young cellists up to 30 years of age.
44 young cellists from 4 continents: Europe, Asia and both Americas will take part in this year's Competition.
The awards gala combined with the winners' concert will also take place at the Warsaw Philharmonic on the 12th of May at 18.00 (ticketed admission).
