Warsaw | Concert on the 110th anniversary of birth of Andrzej Panufnik

On the 25thof May, 2024 at 6 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Polish History Museum in Warsaw a concert to celebrate the 110th anniversary of birth of Andrzej Panufnik, one of the greatest Polish composers of the 20th century, will take place. Sinfonia Iuventus conducted by Maciej Tomasiewicz and Andrzej Jagodziński Trio (Andrzej Jagodziński, Adam Cegielski and Czesław "Mały" Bartkowski) will perform Andrzej Panufnik's works.
During the evening, Sinfonia rustica, referring to the folk music of the northern regions of our country, and Sinfonia sacra, based on Bogurodzica, a medieval song that is one of the most valuable monuments of old Polish language, will be performed.
