Warsaw | García García, Marković and Sinfonia Varsovia - 38th anniversary

On the occasion of the Sinfonia Varsovia's 38^th anniversary the orchestra will perform at the "Teatr Wielki - Polish National Opera" on the 7^th of March 2022 at 7 p.m.

The programme consists of Chopin's Piano Concerto in F Minor as well as Symphony No. 4 in D minor by Robert Schumann and Chaconne from the Polish Requiem by Krzysztof Penderecki. The artists will be the Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition 3^rd award winner Martín García García and the conductor Aleksandar Marković.
Another jubilee worth mentioning is the 50^th anniversary of the Polish Chamber Orchestra which in 1984 formed its symphoni equivalent - Sinfonia Varsovia conducted by Yehudi Menuhin at the time.
