Glissando, Magazyn o muzyce wpółczesnej

    I znów długa przerwa, krótsza wprawdzie niż ostatnia: periodyczność „Glissanda” maleje, a może wraca do normy? W każdym razie oto 16. już numer pisma, w 6. roku jego istnienia, z 3 tematami przewodnimi. Wszystkie od dawna odkładane, co nie znaczy, że odgrzewane, lecz zupełnie świeże, niczym mozarella z pomidorami i bazylią.

     Włochy: ponad 60 stron o najciekawszych nazwiskach i zjawiskach głównie kompozytorskiej sceny. Prowokacyjne ostatnie wywiady Romitellego, osobiste dywagacje Sciarrino, głębokie analizy Billone czy szerokie syntezy Nona to tylko niektóre z nich. Ale znajdzie się także erudycyjna wyprawa w historię włoskiego industrialu (m.in. Bianchi), panorama field recordingu (m.in. Toniutti) oraz migawka zespołu Zu. Dla miłośników innych klimatów kolejna część cyklu Własną drogą tym razem o Laponii.

    Jako intermezzo pojawia się postać wokół której długo krążyliśmy, ale ciągle brakło nam odwagi. Najbardziej dyskutowany kompozytor polski ostatnich lat, Paweł Mykietyn! Kolejne spojrzenia na niego w obszernym wywiadzie, wnikliwej analizie II Symfonii, impresjach o niedawnej kameralistyce (Sonata, Kwartet, Ładnienie), antologii krytyki Pasji, wspomnieniu o Koncercie fortepianowym.

    Kolejny wielki temat to muzyka i... przestrzeń. Tu między innymi trzy odsłony o Xenakisie i jego wizjonerskich ideach z kolejnych dekad (Pawilon Philipsa, Terrêtektorh i Polytopes), wyczerpująca analiza I Am Sitting in a Room Luciera oraz frapujący wstęp do „architektury słuchowej”, czyli nowego myślenia o otoczeniu. W nowe technologie symulacji przestrzennej oraz ambisonics wprowadzają najlepsi specjaliści światowi, z naszą Ewą Trębacz na czele – tu dużo diagramów i tabel. Wreszcie oczywiście nie mogło zabraknąć samej architektury, zarówno w porównawczym eseju, jak i przeglądzie najodważniejszych projektów sal koncertowych ostatnich dwóch dekad.
