Late in the evening of the 8th of May, after auditions of the participants of the second stage of the 12th Witold Lutosławski International Cello Competition jury announced names of the finalists. Concerts with the participation of the best young cellists and the accompanying orchestra conducted by Marek Moś will take place on the 10th and the 11th of May at 7:00 p.m. at the Warsaw Philharmonic. Ticketed entry.

- Tae-Yeon Kim - South Korea
- Maria Leszczyńska – Poland
- Antoni Wrona – Poland
