The academic year 2018/2019 is of special importance to the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, This year the Academy celebrates its 70th anniversary. On November 23, 2018 at 7.00 p.m., it will host a concert of its composers.
The 70th Jubilee Year of the Academy of Music in Wrocław will be filled with extremely interesting events: symphonic, chamber, instrumental, vocal and vocal-instrumental concerts, solo recitals, stage shows, jazz and choral concerts, festivals, and competitions. The planned projects also include master courses and classes, presentations of young composers' works, and finally exhibitions, sessions, symposia, seminars and scientific conferences. The rich spectrum of events was conceived to present the Academy through creative achievements of its students, graduates, pedagogues, and invited guests.
During the November concert, we will hear works by Jan Bielak, Dawid Dorożyński, Rafał Fundowicz, Magdalena Gorwa, Marta Kowalczuk, Mateusz Misiak, Natalia Olczak, Jan Przegendzy, Agnieszka Rusiecka, Ignacy Wojciechowski, Bereniki Wojnar, and Jan Załęcki.
Celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław are held under the Honorary Patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda in the 100th anniversary of regaining Independence 1918-2018.
