Częstochowa | World premiere of "Musica per archi" by Edward Bogusławski
On the 12th of January, 2024, a concert by the Department of Music at Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa at 7 p.m. will feature the world premiere of a work by Edward Bogusławski (1940-2003) Musica per archi, the score of which remained in the Composer's family archives for more than a quarter of a century. Częstochowa Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jerzy Swoboda, will perform.
The concert programme will also include Romuald Twardowski's Piano Concerto No. 2 with Maciej Zagórski as soloist, and in the second part of the evening pianists Barbara Karaśkiewicz and Agata Hołdyk with their ensemble and the Częstochowa Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Marek Kudry will present the hits of the Marek & Vacek duo in arrangements by Michał Grotecki.
