Dariusz Wójcik – a valued artist from Gdańsk and a culture animator well known on the coast, has great merits for Polish culture. Throughout the period of his creative work, he was constantly looking for new inspirations and forms of stage expression. He established a number of valuable cultural initiatives. He was a soloist of the Musical Theatre in Gdynia and a founder of the Gdańsk Open Theatre. Over the years of experience, he has developed his own style and artistic profile focused primarily on verbal and musical performances, shows, concerts and staged concerts. For several years he has been performing concerts and shows with the music of the interwar period. Fascinated with retro music, he decided to celebrate the anniversary of his artistic work with a project involving music, for the popularization of which he received the "Golden Retro Leaf" honorary distinction from Michał Fogg – great-great-grandson of the doyen of Polish song Mieczysław Fogg.

The programme of the show to celebrate the anniversary of Dariusz Wójcik's artistic work, combined with the promotion of the CD album of the same title (Soliton), will include works from the repertoire of Eugeniusz Bodo – a Polish star of pre-war cinema and stage, written by outstanding Polish composers: Roman Palester, Henryk Wars, Jerzy Petersburski, Artur Gold, Bronisław Kaper and Zygmunt Karasiński.

The concert promoting the album will feature guest singers: Bogna Forkiewicz, Aga Skawińska, Jacek Szymański – well-known and respected stage artists from the Tri-City who take part in the Open Theater projects. The singers will be accompanied by the Fogg Trio. The show will also feature dancers of the AKAT Ballroom Dance Club.
