The Institute of Chamber Music at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź invites participants to the oldest Polish chamber music competition – the 22nd International Kiejstut Bacewicz Chamber Music Competition. The competition is open to the public. Auditions will take place from April 7-13, 2025. The application form must be submitted by January 31, 2025.
The Kiejstut Bacewicz International Chamber Music Competition is open to all chamber ensembles that meet the regulations – the average age of the ensemble members must not exceed 30 years on the day the competition begins.
The competition consists of two stages. The first stage will be held in two categories:
The best ensembles from each category will qualify for the second stage, where they will be evaluated together.

There will also be special prizes in the form of concert engagements in major cultural centers.
The competition is under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Hanna Wróblewska, the Voivode of Łódź, Dorota Ryl, the Marshal of the Łódź Voivodeship, Joanna Skrzydlewska, and the Mayor of Łódź, Hanna Zdanowska.
