Łódź | Premiere performance of the Organ Concerto No. 2 by Elżbieta Sikora in Łódź Philharmonic

On the 3^rd of June 3 2022 at 7.00 p.m. at the Łódź Philharmonic, the premiere performance of Elżbieta Sikora's latest piece - Organ Concerto No. 2 will take place. The work will be performed by the Japanese organist Mari Fukumoto. The composition was commissioned by the Łódź Philharmonic.

Elżbieta Sikora is one of the most important Polish composers of her generation. She has been living in France since 1981, but is still artistically associated with Poland. She also cooperates with the Polish Music Edition.

Works by Georg Friedrich Handel and Johannes Brahms will also be performed at theconcert by the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra  conducted by Paweł Przytocki.
