Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC
The Polish Society for Contemporary Music will hold improvisation workshops for children and their parents "Tell me a fairy tale". The first classes will take place in Lower Silesia: September 29–30, 2022 at the Municipal Community Center of Culture in Międzylesie as well as on October 1 at 11:00 at the branch of the Center in Domaszków.
The main idea of the project is to popularize the music of our times and improvisation among the youngest, based on the presented picture books. During the workshops, children learn the basics of improvisation, learn about a variety of instruments, techniques of sound producing and play the percussion instruments.
The classes will be led by recognized artists: multi-instrumentalist Bartosz Smorągiewicz, double bass player Małgorzata Kołcz and composer and pianist Jarosław Siwiński.
Participation in the workshops is free - the number of places is limited, therefore the organizers ask for prior registration of participants. This can be done in two ways:
