In December 2023, the Karol Szymanowski Music Society, in cooperation with the CD Accord label, released a chamber music CD album Polish Piano Quintets (ACD 332).
Six composers - seven quintets - four pianists - one quartet. The latest two-CD album by the Silesian Quartet includes compositions: Chamber Music I "Stalowa Wola" and Ananda by Aleksander Lasoń, Piano Quintet Op. 76 by Krzysztof Meyer, Piano Quintet by Zygmunt Krauze and Piano Quintet by Bettina Skrzypczak, Schizophonia by Zbigniew Bargielski, Bartosz Witkowski's Piano Quintet "Landscape from Harenda" was recorded for the first time ever; it was commissioned by the Karol Szymanowski Music Society for the 46th Karol Szymanowski Music Days in Zakopane for Tymoteusz Bies and the Silesian Quartet.
The quartet is accompanied by pianists Eugeniusz Knapik, Piotr Sałajczyk, Zygmunt Krauze and Tymoteusz Bies.
