Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC

2^nd Władysława Markiewiczówna Silesian Piano Festival will take place on the 20^th of March, 2024 in the concert hall of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Music School in Tarnowskie Góry. It is intended for piano students of first-degree music schools in the Silesian region and promotes piano music of the 20^th and 21^st centuries, which is required in the regulations, with particular emphasis on Markiewiczówna's compositions. The honorary guest of the event and the chairman of the jury will be Prof. Andrzej Jasiński. The deadline for submitting applications is the 8^th of March.

The festival has a single stage and is intended for piano students of first-degrr music schools in the Silesian region, under the supervision of the Minister of Culture. Auditions will take place in four age groups. The programme must be performed by heart.
