The winners of the Corypheus of Polish Music Award 2022 announced!

On the 13th of November, the Warsaw Philharmonic hosted a gala of awarding the Corypheus of Polish Music 2022, organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance and TVP Kultura. This year, all individual awards went to exceptional women associated with Polish music: Agata Szymczewska, Anna Sułkowska-Migoń and Jadwiga Mackiewicz - winner of the Honorary Award. The 18th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition was recognized as the Event of the Year.

The Corypheus of Polish Music Award has been awarded since 2011 in four categories. The winners in the Personality of the Year, Event of the Year and Honorary Award categories were selected by the Electoral College in a secret ballot. The award in the Discovery of the Year category was chosen by the audience.

 


The event was co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Patrons: Association of Authors ZAiKS, Association of Performing Artists STOART.
