‘Dialogues - music meetings in historic art studios’ is a new series of micro-concerts in spaces where the most important Warsaw artists worked: painters, sculptors, fashion designers, photographers. Music will enter into dialogue with visual arts during seven events that will take place from the 28th of September to the 14th of December, 2023. Admission is free!
The protagonists of these small, interesting meetings will be not only the performing artists, but also the owners and guardians of the studios, listeners and - finally - the spaces themselves. Each meeting consists of a concert and a curator's tour of the studio - the hosts are the current guardians of the studio or artists working there.
Joanna Freszel, Jakub Jakowicz, Ewa Leszczyńska, Maciej Kułakowski, Messages Quartet will present a specially prepared programme corresponding to the work of the selected artist and the place and spirit of the studio. Moreover, during each concert an improvised piece will be presented, happening ‘here and now’, inspired by the work of the artist to whom the studio belongs and the place itself.
Admission to all events is free, however due to limited number of places, in order to participate please register at:
