Warsaw | Honorary Doctorate for Maestro Jerzy Maksymiuk

The world-famous conductor, pianist, composer - maestro Jerzy Maksymiuk will receive an honorary doctorate from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. The ceremony will take place on the 25^th of October, 2023 in the concert hall of the Fryderyk Chopin Acadenmy of Music in Warsaw at 11.00.

 The laudation will be delivered by Prof. Tomasz Bugaj, the dean of the Instrumental Faculty, Prof. Tomasz Strahl and the Dean of the Faculty of Symphony and Opera Conducting Prof. Rafał Janiak.

During the artistic part, the legendary conductor will lead the Chopin University Chamber Orchestra whereas Janusz Olejniczak will perform as a soloist.

They will perform Divertimento in B flat major, KV 287 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the second movement of the Concerto for Piano and Strings by Jerzy Maksymiuk himself.
