Warsaw | Laureates of the Koryfeusz award 2022 announced on the 13th of November!

The official gala of presenting the award of the Polish music community Koryfeusz Muzyki Polskiej will take place on the 13th of November, 2022 at 20.00 at the Warsaw Philharmonic. On the occasion of the Year of Polish Romanticism, the programme of the concert accompanying the event will be based on works from that period. Leszek Możdżer, among others, will present jazz interpretations of romantic music.

The statuettes will be presented in four categories: Honorary Award, Discovery of the Year, Personality of the Year and Event of the Year.

During the gala we will hear the band Vołosi, as well as the duo of Monika Wałach-Kaczmarzyk and Karolina Kupczyk-Deyl, the laureate of this year's edition of the Oskar Kolberg award ‘For merits to folk culture’.



Jazz inspired by romantic works will be presented by Leszek Możdżer and the Atom String Quartet. The second part of the concert will feature Ukrainian pianist Ivan Shemchuk, laureate of the 2nd International Polish Music Competition, and Sinfonia Varsovia conducted by Łukasz Borowicz.

Organisers of the event are: National Institute of Music and Dance and TVP Kultura.
