On the 13th of February, 2024, the results of the first stage of the 65th Tadeusz Baird Young Composers' Competition were announced.
The jury composed of: Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil (chairman), Alicja Gronau, Rafał Kłoczko, Katarzyna Kwiecień-Długosz and Edward Sielicki, after reviewing the 17 works submitted to the Competition, selected the following works for the second stage:
- Mazurkas of water, fire and earth (AIRDAR emblem)
- Folk Story (MKBEWE emblem)
- Ritorno (emblem X205)
- Dawn (VOLEREEPOTERE emblem)
- Gesture music (METHONE emblem)
