Tickets for the 51st Andrzej Markowski International Wratislavia Cantans Festival went on presale on March 3, 2016. The event will be held under the title Europa Cantans on September 3-18, 2016.
2016 edition of Wratislavia Cantans will show the richness and variety of European music. The programme includes such masterpieces as both Passions by Johann Sebastian Bach, Coronation Mass by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, or Ludwig van Beethoven's and Dmitri Shostakovich's Symphonies. Several famous musical personalities will perform during the Festival, such as Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Jordi Savall, Andrey Boreyko, Philippe Jaroussky. This year the event offers new elements - master classes led by the great artists and addressed to young musicians, during which Paolo Pandolfo, Robert Levin, Andrea Inghisciano, and Giovanni Sollima will focus on improvisation, as well as concerts performed by students of music schools.
The presale will close on May 31.
