Violinist Jolanta Sosnowska and organist Marietta Kruzel-Sosnowska will perform Marian Sawa’s newly discovered violin work on April 27, 2016 at the Cathedral of the Polish Army (13/15 Długa St) in Warsaw.
Marian Sawa was a Warsaw-based composer and laureate of several awards and prizes, suh as the Gold Cross of Merit. He wrote over 800 pieces, including instrumental, vocal and vocal-instrumental works.
The concert is organized by the Marian Sawa Society on the occasion of the 11th annivesary of the composer’s death.
