2016 edition of the Jan Kiepura Festival, organized for the 50th time, will be held in August 13-20, 2016 in Krynica-Zdrój.
The programme offers over 30 events, such as concerts (including a special commemorative concert on August 15 – the day of 50th death anniversary of the festival’s patron), musical performances, meetings with artists and master classes for young singers. The organizers invited over 400 performers from Poland and abroad, including baritone Artur Ruciński, soprano Iwona Sobotka, singer Edyta Geppert, and 8 orchestras: Krynica-Zdrój Orchestra, Polish Youth Orchestra "Sinfonia Iuventus", Zabrze Philharmonic Orchestra, Krakow Symphony Orchestra, Silesian Opera Orchestra, Krakow Chamber Orchestra, Silesian Art Collective Chamber Orchestra and Camerata Orchestra.
