Pianist Anna Górecka and Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra under Jerzy Maksymiuk will present works by Aleksandra Tansman, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki and Mikołaj Górecki (including 2 world premieres) on October 16, 2016 at the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio in Warsaw.
The concert is a prologue to the anniversary edition of the Tansman Festival, which will be held between November 15 and December 2, 2016 in Łódź. The aim of this year’s edition is to enrich the cultural heritage and reveal unknown pages of its 20th-century history, to propagate and present unknown, forgotten works and their importance in the context of Polish and world culture.
