On August 31 – September 3, 2018 the Lublin Philharmonic invites you to the festival "Europe – Wieniawski brothers home country".
The event will begin with the unveiling of a plaque dedicated to Józef Wieniawski. On August 31 at 7:00 p.m., the Lublin Philharmonic will host a chamber concert during which Katarzyna Ćwiek (mezzo-soprano) and Kamil Turczyn (piano) will perform works of Fryderyk Chopin, Karol Szymanowski and Józef Wieniawski, whose 180th birthday was celebrated last year. The concert will be led by Karol Rzepecki.
On September 2, in The Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Paris, we will hear a recital of Robert Bachara. The final concert will feature Male Vocal Quartet, which will present works of early masters: J. Dunstable, Cl. Janequina, G.M. Nanina, G.P. da Palestrina, H. de Salinisa, Wacław of Szamotuły and M. Zielenski.
