In its 75th anniversary season, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki Silesian Philharmonic invites music lovers of all ages to educational concerts.
A wide range of concerts and educational programmes has been prepared for the youngest. It will not only introduce them to the magical world of music, but will also make them love this world with all their heart.
The concert hall doors are wide open for children – even if they haven't been born yet! "Toddler Philharmonic", "Academy of Musical Taste", "Musical Nursery School", "Chamber Meetings with Music" and "Young Philharmonic" are concerts and programmes that will bring music, instruments and sounds to every listener. "Sound House of Emotions" is a series of classes with elements of art therapy, which have been very popular for several years.
The Silesian Philharmonic, as the first institution in Poland to reach schools with concerts, continues this tradition. Therefore, nursery shools, primary and secondary schools as well as cultural institutions can host philharmonic concerts. "Ms Gama Invites", "Meetings with Music" and "School Broadcasts" are the cycles that combine sounds, commentary and music education into an interesting whole, developing the sensitivity of the youngest listeners and teaching them how to read and listen to music.
