Maja Kleszcz and Wojtek Krzak, Józef Orliński and Aleksander Dębicz, Paweł Szamburski and Pękala / Kordylasińska duo – these are the first artists to perform half-hour online concerts for listeners of the Polish Radio Channel 2 (Dwójka) and Internet users. The first chamber evening of the series "House party with Dwójka" ("Domówka z Dwójką") will be broadcast on 18 April 2020 at 7.00 p.m. on the radio station, its website and Facebook page.
The thirty-minute performances will not only be a testimony of the times in which we live, but also a proof of the inseparable bond between the artists and the listeners, only enhanced by the circumstances. The online concerts will not end with a storm of applause or a standing ovation, but they will be extremely close, intimate and spontaneous.
Among the first artists to perform in the series are: Maja Kleszcz and Wojtek Krzak (18 April), Jakub Józef Orliński and Aleksander Dębicz (25 April), Paweł Szamburski (2 May), Miłosz Pękala and Magdalena Kordylasińska-Pękala (9 May). Special programmes are already being prepared by: Marcin Zdunik, Marek Bracha, Paweł Romańczuk (Small Instruments) as well as Jerzy Rogiewicz and Adam Sztaba. Journalists of PR2 and artists invite you to spend Saturday evenings at these unusual house parties, featuring diverse repertoire: songs and Chopin, jazz and Vivaldi, old and new hits, contemporary Polish music, and all available instruments.
