Katowice | Charity Concert "NOSPR plays for Tosia"

NOSPRA special charity concert performed by the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra will take place at the NOSPR concert hall in Katowice on 4 October 2020 at 5.00 p.m.

All proceeds from the tickets will be donated to the treatment of 11-year-old Antonina Laburda, who was diagnosed in May this year with aplastic anemia, a dangerous disease that requires long-term and difficult therapy. Tosia is the daughter of two NOSPR musicians, Katarzyna and Patryk Laburda, and the concert is a gesture of support from their orchestra colleagues.

The NOSPR chamber orchestra will perform under the direction of Piotr Tarcholik. The programme will include the first movement of the Suite in the old style "From Holberg's Time" by Edvard Grieg, the second movement of the String sextet in D minor "Souvenir de Florence" by Piotr Tchaikovsky, Partita in E-flat major by Johann Nepomuk Hummel, The Dargason from St Paul's Suite by Gustav Holst, two movements from Symphony in A major KV 201 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, as well as Serenade, Op. 2 for string orchestra by Mieczysław Karłowicz.

One can also support Tosia's treatment by making an individual donation through the Iskierka Foundation.
