The 5th Rzeszów Musical Autumn, organised annually by the Polish Chamber Musicians' Association, will be held on 9–24 October 2021 at the Monastery of the Dominican Order and the Institute of Music of the University of Rzeszów.
The main idea is reflected in the subtitle of this year's festival: "Forgotten Music". The fifth edition aims at reminding Polish, rarely performed chamber music of different eras and to present it in the context of European aesthetic trends. The programme will include works by Juliusz Zarębski, Ignacy Friedman, Mieczysław Weinberg, Karol Szymanowski and Sebastian Perłowski.
Among the performers will be respected and versatile musicians: Jakub Jakowicz, Bartłomiej Wezner, Piotr Lato, Bartosz Koziak, Marta Gidaszewska, Robert Łaguniak, Artur Rozmysłowicz, Dominik Płociński, Celina Kotz, Magdalena Bojanowicz, Piotr Różański, Agnieszka Kozło, and Katarzyna Wasiak.
The festival will also be broadcast on the Association's YouTube channel. Admission to all events is free! Co-financed under the "Music" programme carried out by the National Institute of Music and Dance. Co-financed by the Subcarpathian Voivodeship.
