18th Music Education Days online

PWMPWM Edition invites you to the 18th Edition of Music Education Days. This year's event will take place online on 22-26 November 2021. The programme of the 5-day congress for music school teachers will include webinars, master classes and concerts. Outstanding teachers and artists have been invited to perform, conduct lectures and give  lessons. Registration at www.dem.com.pl will be open until 17 November.

For many years, Music Education Days have provided the opportunity to meet, exchange experiences and lead discussions between music school teachers from all over Poland. Traditionally, the programme of the event will include, first of all, lectures in the form of online webinars, which will be conducted by eminent specialists in their fields.

The novelty of this year's edition are master classes. Master classes for young violinists will be conducted by Daniel Stabrawa, concertmaster and soloist of the Berliner Philharmoniker. His students will be the laureates of this year's 2nd Antoni Cofalik National Competition for Violin and Viola. Participation in the master classes was funded by PWM Edition, partner of the competition. Agata Szymczewska, on the other hand, during her classes, will work with students on the youthful works of Grażyna Bacewicz, which were printed for the first time this year by PWM Edition.

The highlight of this year's edition will be an entire day devoted to the work of Fryderyk Chopin.

This year's edition of the event will also include two concerts. The finale of Music Education Days will feature previously unpublished works for string quartet by Grażyna Bacewicz arranged by musicians of the Royal String Quartet.

Live broadcasts will be available simultaneously on www.dem.com.pl, on PWM's Facebook and YouTube channel.

Participation in all events is free!
