At the National Philharmonic in Warsaw On the 31st of May 2022 at 7.00 pm at the Warsaw Philharmonic pianist Adam Kośmieja will perform. The concert is part of the ‘Polish Music Scene programme, co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance and Philharmonics throughout Poland.
Rarely performed pieces of Polish composers of the 20th century will be presented at the event: Aleksander Tansman, Tomasz Sikorski and Kazimierz Serocki, including - on the eve of the International Children's Day – Serocki’s miniatures for children Krasnoludki. The 100-year anniversary of the birth of Kazimierz Serocki will be celebrated this year, which is why the concert repertoire could not lack the most serious and difficult work by the composer for solo piano - Sonata from 1955. His sonoristic A piacere will also be performed.
