On the 15th of November, 2022 at 19.00 in Warsaw's Nowy Teatr a piano recital by Joanna Wicherek and a lecture by Magdalena Budziszewska on climate protection ‘Climatekeys’ will take place. The recital will be a part of a concert and educational project initiated by the English pianist and composer Lola Perrin and held with the participation of pianists from around the world. Admission free! Free tickets are required.
The only Polish artist participating in the project is Joanna Wicherek - a graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and Musikhochschule Freiburg, scholarship holder of the prestigious Accademia Villa Bossi in Italy, winner of the Standard Bank Ovation award, who currently gives concerts and teaches in Switzerland. She will perform works by Frederic Rzewski, Johann Sebastian Bach, William Bolcom, Mayke Nas, Jacob ter Veldhuis and Henry Cowell.
