Warsaw | 38. Warsaw Music Meetings

Event date: 2024-05-10

WSM 24Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC

The Warsaw Branch of the Polish Composers' Union invites you to the 38th Warsaw Music Meetings on May 10-19, 2024. We will hear old and new music. Famous musicians will perform, and other composers, including those from the 17th century, will make their debut at the festival. Admission to all festival events is free!

As Jarosław Siwiński, the artistic director of the Meetings, emphasizes, "We will recall the best and worst times of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, academics from Lviv will bring us beautiful - despite the bad times - music, after years of break we will welcome the full symphony orchestra, and we will end the festival in the amazing space of the post-modern church in Ursynów. This time there will be fairy tales at the family concert. The fairy tales will only be audio, electronic and imaginary, and an excellent guide will guide us through them. It won't help us judge which fairy tales are for children and which are for their parents. Well, it's getting more and more difficult to differentiate".
