The annual contemporary music concert organized by the Institute of Music of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Zielona Góra has already become our tradition. This time we will present works of contemporary composers who represent Zielona Góra, Poznań and Szczecin. The composers are lecturers of the University of Zielona Góra, the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań and the Szczecin Art Academy.

The concert program encompasses instrumental works for cello and piano, for piano solo, as well as songs based on poems by Cyprian Kamil Norwid. The titles of the compositions refer to colours, shadows and poetic inspirations. The performers also represent all the centres:  Milena Palkaj – piano (Szczecin), Wojciech Kaszuba – cello, Maria Koszewska-Wajdzik – piano (Poznań), Maciej Straburzyński – bass-baritone and Monika Hanus-Kobus – piano (Zielona Góra).

Bydgoszcz | XII Międzynarodowy Festiwal Muzyki Współczesnej "Nowa Muzyka"

Event date: 2024-05-11

Festiwal prezentuje najnowszą sztukę muzyczną w jej oryginalnej, a jednocześnie niekomercyjnej odsłonie.
