Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC
16th edition of the Halina Czerny-Stefańska and Ludwik Stefański Piano Competition will take place between the 28th of November and the 1st of December, 2022 at the Karol Szymanowski State Primary and Secondary Music School in Płock.
More than 70 participants from all over Poland will present their competition presentations, and their performances will be assessed by the jury composed of: prof. Elżbieta Stefańska (Kraków) - chairwoman, dr hab. Zofia Antes (Olsztyn), prof. Elżbieta Tarnawska (Warsaw), prof. Hubert Rutkowski (Hamburg), Tereyuki Okada (Japan).
Special evening dedicated to both Patrons of the Competition entitled 'In Memory of Halina Czerny-Stefańska and Ludwik Stefański', will take place on the 1st of December, 2022, at 18.00, in the concert hall of the Karol Szymanowski State Primary and Secondary Music School in Płock. During this musical meeting we will listen to the performances of prof. Elżbieta Stefanska and prof. Tereyuki Okada and their memories of the 30-year history of the Competition in Płock. At that time, the official announcement of the competition results, the award ceremony and the Winners' Concert will also take place.

The partners of the event are: the MUZYCZNI Association, the Witold Lutosławski Symphony Orchestra of Płock and the Anderski company, which provides the YAMAHA CFX concert piano as part of the Competition.
