Results of the first stage of the 64th Tadeusz Baird Young Composers' Competition announced

On the 3^rd of February, 2023, the first stage of the 64^th Tadeusz Baird Young Composers' Competition, organized by the Polish Composers' Union was completed.

The jury, composed of: Bartłomiej Kominek (chairman), Maciej Negrey, Dariusz Przybylski, Bartłomiej Wąsik and Wojciech Widłak, after getting acquainted with 17 works submitted, selected the following works to the second stage:

• Illusion - Emblem XC189045
• Waves - AZYx11UQ emblem
• Qualia - emblem of Stochos20
• ConfRotation - emblem of CERES

Works that have been qualified to the second stage of the Competition will be performed during the final concert at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Cracow on the 16^th of April at 12.00.
