The performative reading of the drama "Sen i nie" by Bogusław Schaeffer, directed by Magdalena Małecka-Wippich, will refer in form to an instrumental concert.

On the 27^th of November, 2023 at 7.00 p.m. at the Zbigniew Raszewski Theater Institute, the audience will see the direction in which a full-scale spectacle could develop. In addition to the director's reading of the text, a multimedia, musical and scenographic setting will also be prepared especially for this occasion. Free entrance.

Gdańsk, Bydgoszcz | Silesian Quartet: Penderecki, Knapik, Górecki – late style

Three quartets, three different worlds - three masters, each in his own late style... On the 90^th anniversary of birth of Krzysztof Penderecki and Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, the Silesian Quartet will present late quartets by composers on the stages of Polish universities: on the 27^th of November at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk and on the 28^th of November at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz.

Performed by the world-famous Polish ensemble, we will hear Krzysztof Penderecki's String Quartet No. 4, String Quartet No. 3 "..the songs sing" op. 67 by Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, as well as String Quartet No. 2 by Eugeniusz Knapik.

5th International Festival of Music of Central and Eastern Europe "Eufonie": broadcasts and rebroadcasts

The 5^th International Festival of Music of Central and Eastern Europe "Eufonie", the only festival in the world that popularizes the musical heritage of this area, will last until te 25^th of November. Most of the Festival concerts can be followed during online broadcasts. As part of the cooperation with Polish Radio, we will hear broadcasts and rebroadcasts of selected concerts.

4th Krzysztof Penderecki International Cello Competition in the Cracow Music Academy

4^th Krzysztof Penderecki International Cello Competition, organized by the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Cracow will take place from the 26^th of November – to the 4^th of December, 2023 in Cracow. The competition is co-organized by the Sinfonietta Cracovia Orchestra of the Royal Capital City of Cracow. Admission to the auditions is free!

Warsaw | ĄsąBąble: sensory concert for children 'Dźwiękocyk'

On the 25^th of November, 2023 at 10.00 and 12.00 Hashtag Lab invites ĄsąBąble again! This time, the concert for babies 0-3 and slightly older children (aged 3-7) will be accompanied by Intibag sensory objects, flute, piano and percussion instruments.

"Sound Baby" is a sensory concert for families with children, during which we will experience the sensations of contact with Intibag objects and look for the answer to the question: can sound have weight?

Wrapped in layers of the sounds of Morton Feldman and George Crumb, we will look for space to relax and meet what sleeps inside us. The title of the concert refers to weighted blankets, which influence our parasympathetic system, reducing stress and calming down.

Poznań | 5. Stefana Stuligrosza Polish Choral Grand Prix

The Polish Choral Grand Prix in 2023 will be held for the fifth time, on November 24-26 in Poznań (main events).

This year's main theme is Polish folk music. The event will be inaugurated with a concert with the participation of the OSTY band, the Poznań Chamber Choir conducted by Bartosz Michałowski and the VOŁOSI band. Special guests will be: Adam Strug and Kapela Odloty. This unique event in the country - the "competition of competitions" - will be accompanied by workshops and discussions.

Zielona Góra | 'Hommage à…: symphonic concert as part of the 32. String Festival

As part of the 32^nd String Festival at the Tadeusz Baird Philharmonic in Zielona Góra on the 24^th of November, 2023 at 7 p.m. there will be a concert titled "Hommage à..." with the participation of the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, this time conducted by Turkish conductor Murat Cem Orhan. Violinist Maria Machowska and pianist Mischa Kozłowski will perform as soloists.

We will hear Variations on a Theme of Paganini by Witold Lutosławski - version for piano and orchestra, Violin Concerto in B minor, Op. 7 No. 2 by Paganini, Farewell Music in memory of Witold Lutosławski, which is Krzysztof Meyer's tribute to the artist he particularly appreciated. The programme of Friday's event will be complemented by Karłowicz's Lithuanian Rhapsody - a masterpiece of Polish symphonic music.

Patronat medialny nad sezonem koncertowym 2023 / 2024 NOSPR sprawuje Polskie Centrum Informacji Muzycznej POLMIC.

Koncert Cameraty Silesii w NOSPR 24 listopada 2023 o godz. 19.30 stanowi krótki przegląd najwybitniejszych kompozycji chóralnych polskich kompozytorów współczesnych: Wojciech Kilara, Henryka Mikołaja Góreckiego i Krzysztofa Pendereckiego. Poza tym po raz pierwszy zabrzmią nowe dzieła Joanny Wnuk-Nazarowej na chór mieszany.

Program otwiera Modlitwa do Małej Tereski Kilara – utwór skomponowany z okazji Jubileuszu Uniwersytetu Śląskiego, stanowiący obok Agnus Dei przykład zakorzenienia wokalnych kompozycji w średniowiecznej pobożności: medytacji, kontemplacji i modlitewnym skupieniu. Podobnie po kluczowe symbole chrześcijaństwa – Trójcę, krzyż, opozycję ziemi i nieba, opowieść o Bogu i człowieku powołanym do Jego naśladowania - sięga Krzysztof Penderecki, m in. w utworach Agnus Dei z Missa Brevis, Miserere z Pasji wg św. Łukasza i O gloriosa virginum.

The 8^th music festival "TRZY-CZTE-RY. Konteksty. Kontrasty. Konfrontacje", organized by the Przypływ Kultury Foundation in cooperation with Programme 2 of the Polish Radio, will take place in Warsaw between the 23^rd of November and the 16^thof December 2023. All concerts will take place in the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio and the Władysław Szpilman Studio of the Polish Radio.

During the inauguration of the Festival, Zygmunt Krauze's Elegy 2022 will be performed for the first time in Poland. On the 1^st of December, the Suite for clarinet and string quartet by Anna Ignatowicz-Glińska will be premiered as well: the work was created as part of the "Composers’ Commissions" programme implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
