Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC.

Less known Polish music of the 19^th and 20^th centuries, both among performers and audiences around the world, is popularized by the 3^rd International Polish Music Competition. From the 2^nd to the 9^th of July 2023 at the Artur Malawski Podkarpacie Philharmonic in Rzeszów, pianists and chamber ensembles from Poland, Germany, Japan, Ukraine, South Korea, Belarus and Bulgaria will compete for prizes. The winners of the third edition, in addition to financial prizes worth over EUR 100,000, will also receive many interesting concert proposals.

The third edition of the Competition will be held under the Honorary Patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda. The competition is financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and from the funds of the Marshal of the Podkarpacie Voivodeship.

The concert of Laureates will take place on the 9^th of July at 18.00 at the Podkarpacie Philharmonic and will be repeated on the 26^th of September at the Warsaw Philharmonic.

The concert of the laureates of the 3rd International Competition of Polish Music will take place on the 9^th of July, 2023 at 18.00 at the Podkarpacie Philharmonic in Rzeszów and will be repeated on the 26^th of September at the Warsaw Philharmonic. The competition is organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance in cooperation with the Podkarpacie Philharmonic, financed by the Minister of Culture of National Heritage and by the Marshal of the Podkarpacie Voivodeship.

The 11^th ‘Emanacje’ Festival invites you to experience diversity - great orchestra performances of Polish music and chamber recitals in the Lusławice mansion surrounded by a park; masterful concerts in beautiful, historic spaces of Lesser Poland's architecture and outdoor meetings among trees, unusual sounds taking place in a weekly rhythm between July 2 - September 2, 2023, night tours of the maze and sensory walks are planned.

During the inaugurating concert, the NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra conducted by Christian Danowicz will perform works by Krzysztof Penderecki, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Witold Lutosławski and Johannes Brahms. What makes this event unique is the fact that in 2023 we celebrate important birthdays of the composers mentioned: the 90^th anniversary of Penderecki and Górecki, the 110^th anniversary of Lutosławski, and the 190^th anniversary of Brahms.

As part of this year's edition of the Summer Academy of Music in Lusławice, a string orchestra Projekt Penderecki was founded. The final concert of the Academy will soloists soloists and leaders of the famous Vienna Philharmonic, who will perform together with conductor Jurek Dybał.

The 30^th International Festival of Organ Music ‘Organy Archikatedry’, one of the most important organ festivals in Poland, will be held between July 2 - September 17, 2023 at the Warsaw Cathedral (Świętojańska 8). This year, during the Festival on Sundays at 4.00 p.m., recognized artists from Germany, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Poland will perform.

The jubilee edition will include: music by Mieczysław Surzyński, Fryderyk Chopin and Feliks Nowowiejski, who performed in this church at the beginning of the 20^th century. Thanks to the large scope of the event, the work of Polish composers is effectively promoted.

On the 2^nd of July, 2023 at 17.00 the Silesian Philharmonic invites you to the first of the summer concerts. The Silesian Chamber Orchestra conducted by Yaroslav Shemet will perform an extremely colorful and energetic programme and the premiere of Sabina Meck's Concerto for Percussion Instruments and String Orchestra.

Together with drummer Krzysztof Nowakowski, the Philharmonic will also perform works by the soloist of the evening, arranged by Piotr Trust, which will show the possibilities and spectrum of sounds of percussion instruments: Montenegro, Colors of Autumn or We are growing. We will also hear Leoš Janáček's Suite for String Orchestra and popular music hits arranged by Dariusz Zboch.

Everything will take place as part of the multimedia series ‘PGE Holograms’: a holographic projection will be used during the concert.
