„Never twice the same” – Cuore Piano Trio debut album

Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC.

NeverTwice KNSClassical The world premiere of “Never twice the same” - Cuore Piano Trio's debut album - will take place on 23rd January 2024 on all streaming platforms. Their newest album, released by the Spanish KNS Classical label, contains an extraordinary repertoire: rarely performed pieces of Polish, French, American and Argentinian origin written by Ludomir Różycki, Germaine Tailleferre, Paul Schoenfield, and Astor Piazzolla.

"The repertoire selection resembles the atmosphere of the most colorful era of the Western world due to extraordinary timbre, intertwining moods, finesse and variety of expression. In fact, this repertoire is easy to receive, but difficult to perform; it requires instrumental virtuosity and brilliant converting from one style to another. It is straightforward music, which in its own way is also refined, striking, and certainly not without depth, while the young musicians' interpretation fortifies it with plenitude and élan. In their music one can notice a great knowledge of style, taste, spiritedness, intensified sensuality and passion with full devotion to feelings" - Krzysztof Lipka about “Never twice the same”.

The trio, founded in 2017 in Warsaw by Zuzanna Małgorzata Budzyńska - violin, Jadwiga Roguska – cello, and Szymon Ogryzek – piano, is the only Polish ensemble in history with its own concert cycle “Souvenir” at the prestigious Musikverein in Vienna. Cuore Piano Trio have been distinguished with numerous prestigious awards such as the Young Promoter of Poland 2023, Students’ Nobel Prize 2020 or the Coryphaeus of the Polish Music Prize 2019, to name but a few.

Already in February the musicians are headed to a three-week-long concert tour to Canada, promoting the CD. Afterwards the ensemble will be presenting the CD’s program in a.o. Poland, Austria (Musikverein Wien), Denmark, USA or Italy.
