On October 27, 2025, RMF Classic will celebrate the Film Music Day for the second time. On this occasion, the station’s editors have selected 300 themes and songs from the most iconic films and TV series. Listeners will be able to take part in a poll to choose “The Most Beautiful Film Music.”
RMF Classic is the only radio station in Poland that plays such a wide range of film music. A special playlist has been launched on RMF ON, where listeners can continuously enjoy the nominated pieces. The full list, available at rmfclassic.pl/a/filmowy-przeboj-wszech-czasow, includes legendary film classics, contemporary film music stars, and Polish composers. This celebration highlights the role of film music in the 21st century — today it resonates not only in cinemas and TV series but also in concert halls, at festivals, and increasingly in commercial projects.
Also on October 27, the winner of the “Your Film Cover” competition will be announced — a contest inviting participants to present their own creative interpretations of their favorite film themes.
The ambassadors of the 2nd Film Music Day include renowned composers such as Henryk Kuźniak, Maciej Zieliński, Abel Korzeniowski, Włodek Pawlik, Bartosz Chajdecki, Krzesimir Dębski, Aleksander Dębicz, Łukasz L.U.C. Rostkowski, Łukasz Targosz, and Paweł Lucewicz.
