30th Anniversary of the Wratislavia Chamber Orchestra at the NFM
Information about the event | Wrocław | 10 May 2026
Established in 1996, the Wratislavia Chamber Orchestra is an ensemble that engages in a dialogue with diverse musical eras, forms, and styles. The implementation of this ambitious vision, created by Jan Stanienda, will be showcased in the program of a concert organized to celebrate thirty years of the musicians' artistic work. On May 10, 2026 at 6.00 pm, they will perform at the NFM under the leadership of their current Artistic Director Roksana Kwaśnikowska and pianist Krzysztof Stanienda.
The evening’s program features compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, and Edvard Grieg, as well as the 20th-century Hungarian composer Sándor Veress. The audience will also listen to Dariusz Przybylski’s Vertigo—a work premiered by Wratislavia in 2025 during the "Evenings in the Arsenal" Chamber Music Festival, of which the orchestra is the host.
Co-financed by the City of Wrocław and the Promotion Fund granted by the Society of Authors ZAiKS.
The POLMIC Polish Music Information Centre is the media patron of the 2025/2026 NFM concert season.
