4th Summer Courses of New Music for Performers in Bydgoszcz: World Premiere of Artur Zagajewski’s Composition

The 4th Summer Courses of New Music for Performers will take place from July 17 to 26, 2025 in Bydgoszcz, organized by the “Harmony and Noise” Music Foundation (Fundacja Muzyczna "Harmonie i hałasy").

The opening concert will be held at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music on July 17 at 7:00 PM, featuring the world premiere of It was October, it was still dark by Artur Zagajewski, performed by course faculty on bass flute and bass clarinet.
Admission is free!

During the Courses, individual masterclasses will be led by renowned Polish contemporary music performers in the following disciplines:

  • Voice – Joanna Freszel
  • Flute – Alicja Molitorys
  • Clarinet – Julian Paprocki
  • Piano and keyboard instruments – Adam Kośmieja, Martyna Zakrzewska
  • Violin/Viola – Anna Kwiatkowska
  • Cello – Mikołaj Pałosz
  • Percussion – Magdalena Kordylasińska-Pękala
  • Electronics – Kamil Kęska
  • Conducting – Szymon Bywalec

Faculty and participants will perform together in concerts at the Bydgoszcz Academy of Music, the Municipal Cultural Centre, and the Mózg Club.

The Courses are co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund – a state special-purpose fund.
