The Concert of Premieres as part of the 53rd Poznań Musical Spring has been rescheduled to October 9, 2024. At 6:00 PM, in the Stuligrosz Hall of the Academy of Music in Poznań, Jan Bałaban (violin), Lech Bałaban (viola), Agnieszka Bałaban (cello), and Krzysztof Sowiński (piano) will perform. Admission is free!
That evening, we will hear the first performances of II Sonata for Viola and Piano by Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska (2024), The Rest by Artur Kroschel for viola and piano (2024), Diluculum by Monika Kędziora for string trio (2024), and "Lechicki" Piano Quartet by Sławomir Czarnecki (2023/2024).
Additionally, the concert will feature A-loiv by Szymon Godziemba-Trytek for solo viola, Planetoida Chopin by Magdalena Cynk for viola, cello, and piano, Valse pour quatre by Piotr Moss for piano quartet, and Taniec by Piotr Komorowski for piano quartet.
The festival is co-financed by the City of Poznań and the Wielkopolska Region Government. It is also funded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund as part of the "Music" program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
