5th edition of the Composition Competition of the Music Festival ArteFonie

The vocal ensemble Art’n’Voices and the Association of Young Artists of the Wejherowo Region invite you to participate in the 5th edition of the Composition Competition, held as part of the ArteFonie Music Festival. The deadline for submissions is August 15, 2025.

The subject of the competition is a composition for male a cappella quartet set to the text "The Unknowns" by Marta Jundziłł. The author has dedicated the text “For all those (wo)men you once loved.”

The organizers (who will also be the first performers) encourage composers to explore the barbershop style, originating from the American a cappella tradition, though this is not a requirement.

The winner will receive a cash prize of 2,000 PLN, and the winning composition will be included in the Virtual Library of the Art’n’Voices Vocal Ensemble. Additionally, the organizers reserve the right to give the world premiere of the piece with the male quartet of Art’n’Voices.
