The 7th Muzyka w Willi Blumwego Festival will take place between November 22nd and December 2nd in Bydgoszcz. The Festival is co-organised by Polish Radio PiK and the Feliks Nowowiejski Music Academy in Bydgoszcz.
Before the concerts in Bydgoszcz start we invite you to Inowrocław and Chełmno, where in local State Music Schools such artists as Mateusz Kowalski and Michał Karol Szymanowski will perform. Concerts are co-organised by ProArte Music Association and Muzyka-Edukacja-Rozwój Society.
On November 26 in the concert space of Młyny Rothera the acclaimed jazz trumpeter Piotr Damasiewicz will perform together with an equally brilliant pianist Dominik Wania. The artists titled their recital The Way, The Truth, The Life.
We will move to Jeremi Przybora Concert Studio of the Polish Radio PiK on November 27 to hear emerging young artists: Zoja Giza, Maria Wezner and Oscar Wong.
Back in Młyny Rothera, on November 28th, Michał Karol Szymanowski will grace the stage again performing a program dedicated to Andrzej Panufnik.
On November 30 in the Polish Radio PiK it will be possible to witness Christian Seibert’s rendition of all Franz Liszt’s Transcendental Etudes.
Mateusz Kowalski, the charismatic guitarist lauded by such media as The Classical Guitar Magazine will appear again performing in Młyny Rothera on December 1st.
The closing concert will take place on December 2 in Opera Nova, where the Opera’s beloved soloist Janusz Żak, together with pianist Rozalia Kierc will perform an intriguing program devoted to Czesław Miłosz.
7th Muzyka w Willi Blumwego Festival - eight concerts, five unique places and much more tales, musical and verbal!
