During the Gala of the 5th anniversary edition of the "Impuls Kultury – Mazowiecka Nagroda Inspiracji Kulturalnych 2024" ("Impulse of Culture – Mazovian Award for Cultural Inspirations 2024") competition, the award was presented to Anna Kierkosz, Agnieszka Trepkowska, and Monika Szulc for the project carried out as part of the "Mała Warszawska Jesień" (Little Warsaw Autumn) Contemporary Music Festival for Children.
The competition jury selected 10 of the most interesting socially creative activities from among 76 submissions and granted 6 honorable mentions.
The creators of the Space®opera project received a prize of 10,500 PLN gross in the category "Project realized in public space."
Space®opera is a project with many layers: it is simultaneously a walk, a meta-installation, and an app with elements of an urban game. It is also a pilot of a micro-residency for contemporary Warsaw-based composers of electronic and electroacoustic music in local educational and cultural institutions. It is a space of unlimited possibilities for animation, education, intergenerational interaction, and creativity.
