The Hieronim Łopaciński Provincial Public Library in Lublin and the Witold Lutosławski Primary and Secondary Music School in Lublin invites you on October 21, 2025, at 6:00 PM to the launch of Maria Ziarkowska’s book The cello works of Andrzej Cwojdziński. The publication was made possible thanks to the support of the ZAiKS Creative Support Fund.
The author’s research, combining scholarly precision with artistic sensitivity, reveals the life and work of Andrzej Cwojdziński. The book explores both the technical and aesthetic aspects of his compositions, placing them within a broad cultural context.
The evening will feature a concert by the chamber ensemble Cwojdziński Piano Trio, which will inaugurate its artistic activity on this occasion, enriching the event with a musical encounter with the composer’s works.
Cwojdziński Piano Trio consists of: Klaudia Ślusarska (violin), Maria Ziarkowska (cello), Maciej Kamiński (piano).
The book is under the honorary patronage of the Association of Art Schools “ProArte.”
